Participants’profile and opinion on the conference

Number of participants

The conference, “Cooperating for a gender-equal world : 30 years of challenges and accomplishments,” gathered a total of 226 people with the common purpose of a more just, more gender-equal world.

Women-to-men ratio

Of the 226 participants, 96% were women and 6% were men.

Language spoken

As shown in the graph below, 29% of attendees were bilingual, 6% anglophone and 64% francophone. Two participants were Spanish speaking.

Simultaneous translation was provided during the conference.

The conference included participants from all the Canadian provinces and a few from abroad.
